The Phoenix men's cricket team felt the sting of defeat as they were ousted by Conestoga in the semi-final match at yesterday's RECCup championship.
Despite a number of close matches, the Phoenix were unable to pull off the needed win to advance in the tournament.
In their first match, the Phoenix lost to Humber 34-33. In their second match, the Phoenix lost to Conestoga 29-28.
In the elimination match, the Phoenix beat Fanshawe 41 to 39 to advance to the semi-finals where they lost to Conestoga 35-31.
