Both men and women's loggersports teams sweep competition
It was a program first for the Phoenix loggersports teams, as both the men and women's A teams came first overall at the 63rd annual Macdonald Loggersports Competition at McGill University on February 22.
The women's A singles came first in axe throw, water boil, single buck, second in super swede, second in stock saw and third in pole climb.
The women's doubles team came first in standing block, first in quarter block and second in underhand.
In the teams, the women came first in log decking, first in pulp throw, second in team swede and third in cross cut.
