Women's Rugby Sevens Holding Training Camps and Tryouts
The Phoenix varsity women's rugby sevens team has announced its training camp and tryout dates for the upcoming season.
Training camps will begin later in August, with all but one of the camps taking place at the Fleming Phoenix Sports Field at the Sutherland Campus. The camp on September 3 will take place on the East field, located beside the Phoenix Sports Field at the Sutherland campus. The training camps are open to Fleming athletes who are interested in learning how to play rugby sevens or refine their skills prior to the tryouts.
Training Camp Dates:
- August 21 - 6 to 8 pm
- August 22 - 10 am to 2 pm
- September 1 - 6:30 o 8 pm
- September 3 - 6:30 to 8 pm (East Field, Sutherland Campus)
Tryouts for the team will take place in September and will be held at the Fleming Phoenix Sports Field.
Tryouts:
- September 8 - 6:30 to 8 pm
- September 9 - 6:30 to 8 pm
- September 10 - 6:30 to 8 pm
Athletes interested in attending the training camps or the tryouts are asked to complete the Student Athlete form.
